VIX

This is a chart of the vix Volatility index
This is heading lower so that generally means that the markets do well and its safe to be long as such.
If this was to rise then that will also give a warning sign and the markets has a habit of being very volitile. This index is well worth keeping an eye on when trading the indexes.

low vix is less volitile so you should not get bailed out as much. When the vix rises it becomes more unstable with trades. vix is a market volatility index. Low is good high is risky. Well thats how i see it...could be wrong

this will be different on other software. It can be a pain to find some times

Nope not .vix anybody know what it might be on ProReal tried all on search list

just type in vix or volatility index in prt search function ( ig advanced) and you'll see it along with some etf's...
