Dont forget fixed income investments as well For example I hold some LB2N and SBSB paying around 10-12pc.

Fixedincomeinvestor.co.uk is also useful.

Also google thisismoney PIBS. Hope this helps. PIBS give steady income with the main risk being only the solvency of the bank/building society/company
